Important change concerning validity of SSL/TLS certificates from 1 September 2020

The validity period for SSL/TLS certificates that are issued after 1 September 2020 cannot now exceed a maximum of one year.

For SwissSign certificates, this means the following:
 

• two-year licences for SSL Gold products must be ordered and redeemed by 14 August 2020 at the very latest.
   
• two-year licences for SSL Silver products must be ordered and redeemed by 20 August 2020 at the very latest.

This is the only way to ensure that the certificates can be issued and ready to use no later than 30 August 2020.
