About SEPPmail – Deutschland GmbH
SEPPmail, a company based in Switzerland and Germany which also operates internationally, is a manufacturer in the field of secure messaging. The company has over twenty years’ experience in the field of secure email communication and offers fast, straightforward solutions for companies of all sizes.
Initial situation
Encrypted and signed emails provide security and establish trust in sensitive communication. SEPPmail has set itself the goal of making this process as simple as possible for its customers through highly automated processes and a secure email gateway. For this project, the company wanted to work with a professional and trustworthy certificate authority (CA) in Europe, and chose to enter into a partnership with SwissSign.
The SwissSign solution

SEPPmail uses the state-of-the-art managed PKI solution from SwissSign for the purchase and automated management of S/MIME certificates. The connection for purchase of certificates is highly secure and encrypted.

The MPKI is easy to set up and can be integrated seamlessly into the SEPPmail solution.

Both domain- and organisation-validated certificates are offered, allowing all sectors to be addressed.

The private key remains in the customer’s infrastructure.
