The Canton of Neuchâtel chooses SwissSign for electronic signatures
The Service informatique de l’Entité neuchâteloise (SIEN) has chosen SwissSign’s electronic signature solution for all public entities in the Canton of Neuchâtel. This decision reflects SIEN’s core mission: to provide shared IT services to the cantonal administration, municipalities, schools and healthcare institutions.
Thanks to this solution, the municipalities of Neuchâtel can benefit from a signature infrastructure certified under ZertES without having to manage their own implementation. Each entity signs on behalf of its own organisation with a consistent visual appearance.
The data is hosted in Switzerland within SwissSign’s highly secure infrastructure. This ensures compliance with sovereignty requirements as well as the strictest Swiss compliance standards.
For SIEN, this initiative enables operational efficiency to be combined with controlled governance: centralised management of the service, combined with decentralised use by the various entities – within a secure, compliant and scalable framework.
