Pre-prod environment for SwissSign customers
The pre-prod environment provides a platform for testing. It makes it possible to test new CA releases before they are rolled out to the prod environment.
What does the pre-prod environment include?
Important: The MPKI on the pre-prod environment does not issue public trust certificates. They are intended for testing only.
- Your MPKI on the new pre-prod environment for the new SwissSign CA is validated on the EV level.
- The attribues are set according to your specifications given in the order.

CMC API on the new SwissSign CA
- You must provide us with the serial numbers of your client certificates (40-digit hexadecimal) so we can give you access to the API. We need to add these numbers to your pre-prod MPKI.
- For this to occur, the values of the parameters in the request string must be URL-encoded.

https://environment/ws/cmc?account=...&product=...
As an example, the address for the SSL Gold Single-Domain product would be:
https://cmc.pre.swisssign.ch/ws/cmc?account=MPKI5000005%20-%20Company%20Example%20AG&product=SwissSign%20EV%20SSL%20Gold%20Single-Domain
